[17:59] CDB Barkley: Welcome everyone
[17:59] CDB Barkley: We were worried if anyone would show up
[17:59] Duck Peck: haha, what an annoying chair
[17:59] You: please take a seat on the grass
[18:00] NMC Slide Show Screen whispers: I don't know what kind of picture to show you.

Type '/1 sometag' to tell me what tag to search for on flickr and I'll remember it.

[18:00] CDB Barkley: Cool pix!
[18:00] totally Vavoom: '/1 mountains
[18:01] Calamari Ricardo: BTW, just figured out how to Mute objects the other day. If you get tired of hearing the flag flap, just right click and choose Mute.
[18:01] Espresso Demi Tasse whispers: Now THAT will open your eyes!
[18:01] totally Vavoom: hey cdb, i feel left out, I'm a tea drinker ;-)
[18:01] Professor Beliveau: /any team speech on this session?
[18:01] Lacrymosa Greyskin: What a great dog pic. Australian?
[18:03] Corwin Carillon: Maybe we can start now if that's ok with everyone?
[18:03] Lyr Lobo smiles
[18:03] Mace Remblai: Yes please
[18:03] totally Vavoom: thanks spengler roo :-)
[18:03] Troy McLuhan: ok
[18:03] totally Vavoom: tea
[18:04] Corwin Carillon: so how about we introduce ourselves briefly .. what we do, why were here :)
[18:04] Mace Remblai: I'll start
[18:04] CDB Barkley: Cool
[18:04] Corwin Carillon: thx mace
[18:05] Mace Remblai: I'm mace from case instructional designer
[18:05] NMC Slide Show Screen: Setting the tag for Calamari Ricardo to cephalopod
[18:05] CDB Barkley: Good idea to stand up '-)
[18:06] Ann Barsov: This is my first visit. I am looking for that option.
[18:06] CDB Barkley: We don;t have a specific agenda; we wanted to make a place and time for people to talk about teaching in this weird place
[18:06] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Guess, I'll go next.
[18:06] totally Vavoom: ah now, i wouldn't call it weird :-)
[18:07] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Lacrymosa. Emerson College. IT Admin.
[18:07] Lacrymosa Greyskin: I second Mace's reason.
[18:07] Duck Peck: =)
[18:07] Duck Peck: I'm also hailing from Emerosn
[18:07] Duck Peck: oops. Emerson.
[18:07] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Shoulda guessed.
[18:07] Lyr Lobo: Hello, my name is Lyr Lobo (Cynthia Calongne) from Colorado Technical University. I teach game design and software engineering classes in real life and host class sessions in Second Life.
[18:07] CDB Barkley: spelling = overrated
[18:07] Duck Peck: haha =P
[18:08] Spengler Roo: I'm starting a seminar on utopia using SL next week. Bill Ball, poli sci prof at The College of New Jersey
[18:08] Mace Remblai: I find a virtual world kind of static, how can it promote active learning? Any ideas?
[18:08] totally Vavoom: totally Vavoom, instructional tech, Trinity university, my first year seminar class will be exploring SL this FAll
[18:09] Zizou Zetkin: I'm Zizou/ Rob from Grand Valley State University . . .interested in literary simulations and hoping to develop literary RPGS in SL
[18:09] Claudia Linden: I'm on the community team with Linden Lab...I would like to request that someone post a transcript of your talk to the Second Life Educators list. I can't stay, but I'd love to read what you discuss. Then we can better understand issues you need 2 solve.
[18:09] CDB Barkley: We will, claudia
[18:09] Claudia Linden: thanks.
[18:09] Kevin Galbraith: Kevin from the University of Richmond, instructional technology
[18:10] CDB Barkley: Alan/CDB with NMC, and darn glad to see a crowd here
[18:11] Boris Grommet: Hi, I'm Ruben Puentedura from Hippasus, working with different groups to explore the potential of SL (among other things).
[18:11] hondomac Dalgleish: Hondomac Daligleish (Ian MacLeod) IT faculty Nova Scotia Community College
[18:11] CDB Barkley: It would be interesting to know how many here are using SL in real classes this fall (beyond exploratory visits)
[18:12] Duck Peck: has anyone had success using SL in the past?
[18:12] Corwin Carillon: Hi I'm Nick Noakes ... working with the NMC in SL to produce a faculty/teacher cert 'course' ...and I'm in Hong Kong
[18:12] mindserfer Hilbert: eric from university of tennessee, teach cs and design and research interfaces and digital manipulatives for math and science ed.
[18:13] Troy McLuhan: What is a "digital manipulative"?
[18:13] CDB Barkley: broad question ;-)
[18:13] mindserfer Hilbert: and sim or interacitve visualization of some principal or abstraction.
[18:14] Troy McLuhan: Ah, thanks
[18:14] AngryBeth Shortbread: Anna Robinson - Senior Lecturer Design for Digital Media , at Leeds College of Art, UK.
[18:14] Boris Grommet: On digital manipulatives: are you familiar with the NLVM (National Library of Virtual Manipulatives) for math instruction?
[18:14] Lyr Lobo: love your work, AngryBeth...
[18:14] AngryBeth Shortbread: thanks
[18:14] mindserfer Hilbert: NLVM - yes thanks.
[18:14] CDB Barkley: Ditto on AngryBeth
[18:15] Zizou Zetkin: Networking, CDB, and eventually, perhaps splitting into smaller groups
[18:15] Corwin Carillon: yes thanks Angrybeth for being so giving
[18:15] CDB Barkley: So..... anyone actively teaching with SL now have any experiences to share?
[18:16] Lyr Lobo: I brought my doctoral game design class into SL for design sessions
[18:16] Lyr Lobo: about a dozen sessions over two months
[18:16] Corwin Carillon: hi danielle
[18:16] Danielle Damone: Hey corwin
[18:17] Danielle Damone: thanks for the TP
[18:17] Lyr Lobo: It worked well, but they had mixed technology and were not used to the environment. Had to get them adjusted first
[18:17] Lyr Lobo: then held a postmortem at the residency afterwards...face to face
[18:17] Lyr Lobo smiles
[18:17] Lyr Lobo: in a few minutes
[18:17] Ann Barsov: thanks
[18:17] Lyr Lobo: they could experience activities firsthand
[18:17] CDB Barkley: We wonder about the barrier if entry....
[18:17] Lyr Lobo: immersive design
[18:17] Spengler Roo: one pain in the neck: the frequent required updates are a pain for students trying to use SL in a lab environment
[18:18] Troy McLuhan: Did you take them to see the SL Game Develper's Competition Lyr?
[18:18] CDB Barkley: Agreee Roo!
[18:18] Lyr Lobo: no I did not, though a couple did go
[18:18] Spengler Roo: and never schedule anyting for wednesday!
[18:18] Troy McLuhan: Ah, that's good
[18:18] Lyr Lobo chuckles
[18:18] totally Vavoom: how are people dealing with the updates and a lab environment. that's a concern for me at the moment as well
[18:18] Zizou Zetkin: Can we still see the Game Design Competition?
[18:19] Troy McLuhan: The Game Design Competition is over now
[18:19] Troy McLuhan: It is annual
[18:19] mindserfer Hilbert: and is the sl linux client worth trying?-anyone
[18:19] Lyr Lobo: yes
[18:19] Troy McLuhan: I know many people who use the Linux client all the time
[18:20] Lyr Lobo: i have friends who use it... we share a group build and use experimental designs there
[18:20] Duck Peck: I work in lab operations, and updating the software build just isn't something that can be done weekly
[18:20] Mace Remblai: what do you have your students do in here?
[18:20] Lyr Lobo looks around to see if anyone else is answering
[18:21] totally Vavoom: I agree.
[18:21] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Updates depend on how the client is built, so it can be easy or hard. Does anyone have any experience with doing updates? What clients?
[18:21] Lyr Lobo: One of my students made the mistake of saying that he was surprised to see that scripting was used in games... *chuckles*
[18:21] Lyr Lobo: soo we came in here, designed, scripted and tested game behaviors
[18:21] hondomac Dalgleish: sorry to jump in with this, but one of the issues we are having trying to "sell" SL is the hardware requirements, particularly the need for upgraded video - any suggestions on how to best do that?
[18:22] Lyr Lobo: nothing like experience to teach one...
[18:22] Calamari Ricardo wonders if intros are over.
[18:22] Lyr Lobo: no, jump on in, Cala
[18:22] Calamari Ricardo: Calamari Ricardo, cephalopodcast.com & virtualbridges.net. RL=media and technology coordinator, Center for Distance Learning, Mote Marine Laboratory. Also a fan of AngryBeth's work.
[18:22] Corwin Carillon: Calamari pls jump in at any time :)
[18:22] Calamari Ricardo: Interested in how SL can be used to teach science concepts.
[18:22] Calamari Ricardo: Interested in webcasting with virtualbridges.net. Joined their webcasting academy. Hope to do more SL+webcasting in the future.
[18:23] Calamari Ricardo: Watching yesterday's SLCC ed events, first time it really dawned on me that SL is a tool and not just a toy.
[18:23] Lyr Lobo nods
[18:23] Calamari Ricardo sits doen and shuts up.
[18:23] Troy McLuhan: Will Windows Vista require upgraded video cards? That might help convince someone to upgrade them.
[18:23] Lyr Lobo: no no... it is a powerful tool...
[18:23] Duck Peck: anyone checked out NOAA's sim yet?
[18:23] Duck Peck: its pretty excellent
[18:23] Boris Grommet: Troy, the problem is that it's not just upgraded video - it's also specific cards.
[18:24] Calamari Ricardo: Yup, that's part of what did it for me.
[18:24] Troy McLuhan: Yeah - I saw NOAA's sim - they are in the middle of a design competition there right now - cool stuff!
[18:24] Corwin Carillon: folks ... excuse me interupting ....
[18:24] Calamari Ricardo: NOAA, that is.
[18:24] hondomac Dalgleish: iwas there tonight - a great effoet , particularly the Tsunami
[18:24] Boris Grommet: Some very powerful cards don't work well?
[18:24] Corwin Carillon: it is great to see so many people here ...
[18:24] Lyr Lobo nods to each threaded conversation
[18:24] Zizou Zetkin: And some pretty middle of hte road ones do okay
[18:24] Corwin Carillon: could we just halt the chat for a while?
[18:25] Corwin Carillon: there's a couple of things CDB and I would like us all to do together ...
[18:25] Calamari Ricardo wonders if we hav eto hold hands and sing Kumbaya
[18:25] Corwin Carillon: we want this to be your teachers buzz not ours ...
[18:25] Corwin Carillon: lol
[18:26] Corwin Carillon: so we were hoping you would be willing to brainstorm together ...
[18:26] Corwin Carillon: topics and actiivities for these sessions ..
[18:26] Corwin Carillon: and what we might do for the next one :)
[18:26] Kevin Galbraith: Let me follow up on totally's question: who is installing SL in campus labs and do you have issues with the updates?
[18:26] Corwin Carillon: are you all ok with that?
[18:27] totally Vavoom: that makes sense corwin
[18:27] hondomac Dalgleish: Makes sense to me
[18:27] Lacrymosa Greyskin: That's definitely a good issue to post to Linden.
[18:27] Zizou Zetkin: game design seems to be a thread here
[18:27] totally Vavoom: and thanks for the follow up kevin.
[18:27] Boris Grommet: I'll second game design.
[18:28] Lyr Lobo nods
[18:28] Corwin Carillon: so maybe we can be very chaotic for 2-3 mins and you just say your ideas for topics activities for future sessions
[18:28] totally Vavoom: so two topics so far: game design and issues with SL in lab environments
[18:28] Calamari Ricardo: in-world game design or design of SL?
[18:28] AngryBeth Shortbread: developing tools for SL
[18:28] hondomac Dalgleish: good topics
[18:28] Lyr Lobo: we had teaching science in SL from someone
[18:28] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Anyone here big on the Sociology side of SL? I know of one or two faculty at Emerson that would like that as a topic.
[18:28] Professor Beliveau: /linden throws extra procedures on top of our usual human subjects protection procedures . . . but they are not very responsive (they are swamped); how should we deal with their requests, esp. when they are in excess of the norm and we don't get feedback
[18:29] Mace Remblai: I'd like a guided tour of some really cool stuff in here, could we do that, not NMC, but SL in general
[18:29] Zizou Zetkin: SL and humanities instruction too
[18:29] Jera Yin: whoops
[18:29] totally Vavoom: tis may sound silly, but mayhap some mentoring for noobs?
[18:29] Calamari Ricardo: Mace-would like to do tours + skypecasts
[18:29] Jera Yin: sorry did not mean to sit so close
[18:29] CDB Barkley: Yes, some field tris would be cool, Mace
[18:30] Lyr Lobo: Mentoring is a great idea
[18:30] Mace Remblai: yes, some of you are mentioning sites/places I'm not familair with
[18:30] totally Vavoom: hey there larry, you look spiffy tonight ;-)
[18:30] Lyr Lobo: listing our favorite places and educational sites
[18:30] Larry Pixel: thansk Totally!
[18:30] Mace Remblai: that would be great
[18:31] Troy McLuhan: There is a list of good educational sites on the SimTeach wiki
[18:31] Lyr Lobo: conducting assessment in SL
[18:31] totally Vavoom: oh good one lyr
[18:31] Mace Remblai: tahnks troy
[18:31] Zizou Zetkin: also, somewhere to get a belt for these pants
[18:31] Lyr Lobo grins
[18:31] Danielle Damone: best practices for faculty and student orientation to SL
[18:32] totally Vavoom: so good places to pick up used attire for zizou ;-)
[18:32] CDB Barkley: And what about answering the question of, "Why are you using SL?"
[18:32] Milosun Czervik is online
[18:32] Mace Remblai: well, how are you using SL?
[18:32] Zizou Zetkin: I think the development of in-world libraries is also very important
[18:33] Corwin Carillon: We will put all these ideas in the wiki for teacher's buzz... thx
[18:33] Corwin Carillon: http://www.nmc.org/campus/Teachers_Buzz_Session
[18:33] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Haha, how about Moodle and WebCT plugins for SL? If they don't exist already, that is. Take a test in SL?
[18:33] Corwin Carillon: if you click on the globe by the fire, you can go there
[18:33] CDB Barkley: Again, what sorts of things would coing together like this do for teachers? and support folks?
[18:34] Lyr Lobo: share ideas, find solutions, identify new ways to use the technology
[18:34] Lyr Lobo: identify emerging technologies
[18:35] totally Vavoom: make new friends, reconnect with old RL friends
[18:35] Corwin Carillon: share practices and tools
[18:35] Danielle Damone: guest speakers/presentations are always fun :-)
[18:35] Calamari Ricardo: Anyone here K-12? Thought these were some good questions to ask...http://simteach.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5
[18:35] Mace Remblai: what makes SL unique as a learning environment
[18:35] Gehill50 Ni: I'm K-12
[18:36] CDB Barkley: Hey prof B-- how abut share your class planning status?
[18:36] Professor Beliveau: /yep
[18:36] Professor Beliveau: /hoping to teach 8 undergrads
[18:36] Zizou Zetkin: (and grade 12 falls into the cracks, with some students age 17 and some 18)
[18:36] Professor Beliveau: in Jan. interim
[18:36] Professor Beliveau: field research methods.
[18:36] Professor Beliveau: classes in SL on NMC campus
[18:36] Professor Beliveau: field research
[18:37] Lyr Lobo: great environment for Action Research too
[18:37] AngryBeth Shortbread: I'm going to say bye - nearly 3am here . I'll check the chat log laters, enjoy
[18:37] Professor Beliveau: going through the process of getting
[18:37] Gehill50 Ni: we are looking to work on a middle school project that addresses math and reading using SL
[18:37] Lyr Lobo: bye AngryBeth...thank you for coming
[18:37] CDB Barkley: bye Angrybeth!
[18:37] mindserfer Hilbert: I would be nice is people developing educational tools in sl could connect with people would could use them for research/gather data from users/research participants.
[18:37] Professor Beliveau: permission of our human sujects review comitte
[18:37] CDB Barkley: We'll aim for a Eurpose friendly time
[18:37] Professor Beliveau: for the students research
[18:37] totally Vavoom: bye angrybeth!
[18:37] Larry Pixel: Bye angrybeth!!
[18:38] Corwin Carillon: so ... we have a lot of ideas ...
[18:38] Corwin Carillon: if you look the chat history ...
[18:39] Corwin Carillon: which ones seem most important/urgent for our follow-up meeting in 2 weeks?
[18:39] Lyr Lobo: the lab question for those using labs
[18:39] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Lab Updates?
[18:39] Duck Peck: agreed
[18:39] totally Vavoom: took the words right out of my mouth lyr ;-)
[18:39] Lyr Lobo chuckles
[18:39] Troy McLuhan: I guess the startup questions like installing SL, SL updates, and orientation make sense to begin with
[18:40] Professor Beliveau: /I'd like to add info about audio technologies in world
[18:40] Corwin Carillon: we can have more then one ...
[18:40] Corwin Carillon: :)
[18:40] CDB Barkley: We could make a specific portion of each "buzz" be a show n tell
[18:40] Troy McLuhan: I like that idea
[18:40] Mace Remblai: Shwing and telling is good
[18:41] CDB Barkley: Or haave a session of dumping stuff from our inventories
[18:41] totally Vavoom: i like that one!
[18:41] Lyr Lobo chuckles
[18:41] mindserfer Hilbert: audio is one of the strongest elements of sl.
[18:41] Duck Peck: haha
[18:41] CDB Barkley: Yes, and we hope to try some audio at a future buzz
[18:41] Lacrymosa Greyskin: It's pretty impressive, for sure.
[18:41] Lyr Lobo: yes, it is
[18:42] CDB Barkley: We have some tools here where we could join audio in a SkypeCast and stream the sound into the music channel
[18:42] Professor Beliveau: /or teamspeex . . . but I do NOT want to type in class session
[18:44] totally Vavoom: it seesm to me that audio should be it's own session, and perhaps we could include a segment that is a tutorial or guide to setting up audio/teamspeek et al for our own classes?
[18:44] CDB Barkley: So beyond lab/update issues, what does it take to teach in this space?
[18:44] Professor Beliveau: /guides for students to get them up to speed fast
[18:44] Espresso machine : gives a cup to Larry Pixel
[18:44] CDB Barkley: And no one has mentioned dancing ;-)
[18:45] Lyr Lobo grins
[18:45] Professor Beliveau: /and stopping dancing!
[18:45] Danielle Damone: I second that Prof - we are working on that now for my class
[18:45] Corwin Carillon: yes guides like jockay's and screencasts like Secrects of Second life
[18:45] Professor Beliveau: /dd . . . I'd love to look at it when you finish
[18:45] totally Vavoom: well, how do you keep students focussed on the class instead of fussing with their looks ;-)
[18:45] Corwin Carillon: lol
[18:45] Mace Remblai: how about what does it take to learn in this space
[18:45] Lacrymosa Greyskin: Is there any kind of moderation control?
[18:45] Danielle Damone: or picking their name :-)
[18:45] Lyr Lobo: activity and objectives, plus a competitive opportunity
[18:46] Lyr Lobo: I make a game out of nearly everything
[18:46] Zizou Zetkin: (games, in short)
[18:46] Lyr Lobo smiles
[18:46] totally Vavoom: got some examples lyr?
[18:46] Mace Remblai: so if competitive is this a game?
[18:46] CDB Barkley: This does not feel game like to me
[18:46] Lyr Lobo: hmm when it comes to design and scripting, I have them start simple..something that can be done in a few minutes
[18:46] Lyr Lobo: and see how they solve the problem
[18:47] Troy McLuhan: "Second Life is not a game." - Philip Rosedale, CEO of Linden Lab
[18:47] Mace Remblai: problem example?
[18:47] Boris Grommet: Lyr, do you have some samples available?
[18:47] totally Vavoom: so couched in a game a specific objective or learning moment, say problem solving?
[18:47] CDB Barkley: radio: http://media.nmc.org/sl/audio/SLCC-Phillip_Rosendale.mp3
[18:47] NMC radio Box whispers: Changing station!
[18:47] Lyr Lobo: for example
[18:47] CDB Barkley: Speaking of Rosedale-- I just swapped the music channel to play back his SLCC speech
[18:47] Lyr Lobo: working with sit targets in scripts
[18:47] Lyr Lobo: to understand euler rotations
[18:48] CDB Barkley: Larry P recorded it a few days ago
[18:48] Danielle Damone: a machinima workshop would be great
[18:48] totally Vavoom: am I missing something? I don't hear any audio
[18:48] Calamari Ricardo is relaxed
[18:48] Lyr Lobo: this rug is an example of collaborative design
[18:48] CDB Barkley: yes, I want to learn machinima
[18:48] Lyr Lobo: i heard some audio
[18:48] Lyr Lobo: 9 sits, 5 poses, no poseballs
[18:48] Larry Pixel: Click play on the musci control
[18:48] Lyr Lobo: all custom rotations...
[18:49] Corwin Carillon: we should ask angrybeth and anya in for machinima
[18:49] totally Vavoom: weird, i don't have the music control, hmmmm
[18:49] Calamari Ricardo seconds the machinima suggestion
[18:49] Danielle Damone: sure - anya or angry beth ould be great
[18:49] Lyr Lobo: for those unfamiliar with AngryBeth's work, visit The Port under All in the Search menu.... or ask me for a landmark
[18:49] Danielle Damone: maybe aimee weber
[18:49] Corwin Carillon: yes
[18:50] Calamari Ricardo: Who's Aimee Weber? <kidding>
[18:50] Danielle Damone: LOL
[18:50] Boris Grommet: Lyr, very cool example.
[18:50] Lyr Lobo: there is a TV studio there that is fun
[18:50] CDB Barkley: Some of these are larger type events we can certianly try to host on NMC campus
[18:50] Lyr Lobo smiles
[18:50] CDB Barkley: we're hoping the buzz can really be a community
[18:50] Lyr Lobo: i have the landmark up if anyone needs it
[18:50] Calamari Ricardo interested in the TV studio.
[18:50] totally Vavoom: i'd like the landmark lyr
[18:50] Danielle Damone: I am interested as well
[18:51] CDB Barkley: FYI, future expansion plans for NMC campus will include a whole complex for machinima,s tudios, etc
[18:51] Danielle Damone: CDB - that is awesome
[18:51] Lyr Lobo: We had the Lego Mindstorms NXT event here...and monthly, have ongoing educational robotics events
[18:51] Lyr Lobo: for anyone who is interested
[18:51] Boris Grommet: CineCitta SL/NMC - I like it!
[18:51] Calamari Ricardo: CDB-those plans could be a meeting topic unto themselves, no?
[18:51] CDB Barkley: well, yes, we could have contuous meetings 24/7
[18:52] Calamari Ricardo is jealous of Lyr and her NXT.
[18:52] CDB Barkley: ;-)
[18:52] Corwin Carillon: sorry folks for interrupting again ....
[18:52] CDB Barkley: Someone wake up Calamari
[18:52] Corwin Carillon: we wanted to try and keep this meeting to around an hour ...
[18:53] Corwin Carillon: and we have one last thing we'd like to mention ....
[18:53] Corwin Carillon: we are developing a faculty/teacher certification for SL ...
[18:53] Corwin Carillon: we're still in the developing stage but would love your input :)
[18:53] Corwin Carillon: http://www.nmc.org/campus/
[18:53] Professor Beliveau: /I have a couple concerns about it . . .
[18:53] Larry Pixel: You'll get one of these wonderful medals under the flicker show
[18:54] Corwin Carillon: click on the globe and it will take you to the NMC campus wiki
[18:54] Larry Pixel: sized just to fit yoru av!!
[18:54] hondomac Dalgleish: I looked at the pagethe other day - looks like a great start. when were you planning on rolling it out?
[18:54] Professor Beliveau: /I thihnk that in some ways it might actually inhibit rather than encourage
[18:54] CDB Barkley: Talk Prof B
[18:54] Professor Beliveau: Once you put in "certification
[18:54] Danielle Damone: Prof - why do you fell that way?
[18:54] Professor Beliveau: someone who is not certified
[18:54] Larry Pixel: ahhh...suggest a better name then
[18:54] Professor Beliveau: will either have to jumpt throught those hoops
[18:55] Professor Beliveau: or won't be able to participate with the confidence of others
[18:55] Larry Pixel: we just want to have a group who can cotrol all the parts of the sim
[18:55] Professor Beliveau: I love the learning.
[18:55] Professor Beliveau: It's a great idea
[18:55] CDB Barkley: More like an honor society?
[18:55] Professor Beliveau: And there will always be masters and not
[18:55] Larry Pixel: no there is a very practical side to it
[18:55] Danielle Damone: hmm - not sure if I would not be confident in someone who did not go through the program necessarily
