To help you explore the NMC Second Life environment, we have added tools such as the Map and the NMC Travel Boxes.
Destinations Available
- Muriel Cooper Coliseum
- Turing Hall
- Grace Murray Hopper Exposition Centre
- Farnsworth Station
- Vint Cerf Pavilion
- Schroeder-Krasner Hall
- Rosedale Hall
- Babbage Amphitheatre
How to use the Map:
- Locate a map ( There is one positioned just outside the NMC Resource Center aka Farnsworth Station )
- On the map locate the destination of your choice ( These will be highlighted with a flashing yellow circle )
- Click on a designated location and it will teleport you to your destination.
Note: If your screen does not change upon arrival, you may have to press the "esc" (escape) key on your keyboard.
How to use the Orange Box:
- Locate a NMC Travel Box ( There is one located across from the Help Booth )
- Click on the box and it will sit you down
- A pop up menu will show you choices of locations
- Simply choose a destination and the box will fly you to the location of your choice
