[edit] Viewing Regular and Streaming Video
Before you attempt to watch videos in Second Life, you should first make sure that you have the most current version of Apple Quicktime installed. This is the only video player that Second Life uses.
- You can download the most current version from www.apple.com/quicktime
After you have verified that you have the most current version of Quicktime, then launch Second Life and enable the settings for Streaming video.
- From the Edit menu, select preferences
- Select the Audio & Video tab
- check the “Play Streaming Video When Available” checkbox , then hit "Apply"
You are now ready to view streaming video.
