The Wednesday schedule for the NMC Symposium on Creativity in Second Life was deliberately made more open, mostly to allow for possible downtimes for SL updates (and there was one in the morning), but also to give folks a breathing break! It's been an exciting schedule, and maybe a bit over the top for those needing to get some Rl balance.

Here's a quick recap of the sessions I saw today at the NMC Symposium on Creativity in Second Life. Only about two days into this week long event, it is apparent that our breakout session presenters have really caught our intended spirit of making the sessions very active, so there is no sitting in rows looking at flat slides!

It's going to be a challenge to provide comprehensive coverage of this week's Symposium on Creativity given... there's so much going on! Sadly, I am not able to be at all sessions, and we are counting on people at the sessions to be blogging, taking photos, and tagging everything with slcreativity.

It's been about 12 hours since the first full day of the NMC Symposium on Creativity launched, and what a day its been. After months of planning, and watching the fabulous builds unfold created by the NMC Virtual Worlds team, it was exciting to see all the activity, enthusiasm for todays opening of the week-long Symposium on Creativity in Second Life.

Last night's ZeroG SkyDancer performance was an incredible event hosted here on NMC Campus. There were 3 performances, and the audiences showed up (not without some trouble at 7PM due to problems with the Wednesday grid upgrade) in their finest formal wear.
What DanCoyote Antonelli produces in these shows really fails to be described in words, or even pictures. The Skydancer troupe, Anhinga Chaika, Deborah Strangelove, Callipygian Christensen, Tatiana Kurri, Queue Marlowe, adorn rather unusual avatar 'clothes' that render them as ... more » »
