As the closing keynote for the Education Track at SLCC 2007, NMC CEO Larry Johnson presented an expanded version of his talk at the NMC Symposium on Creativity with his self-admitted optimistic view of "What Creativity Matters".

Sarah Robbins, ever effervescent Intellagirl, revved up the energy at SLCC 207 with her session on a A Futurist’s View of Second Life Education. She presenter her own matrix framework for looking at the attributes of virtual worlds and plotted were we are at... and encouraged educators to help drive where it will go.

Just in time for this weekend's Second Life Community Convention, the proceedings (papers) for the sessions in the Education Track have just been made available. Kudos to Jeremy Kemp and Daniel Livingstone for what must have been some monumental editing.
Weighing in at 188 pages, this is one perhaps to read electronically, or at least, save a real tree and print a few select articles. Choosing "select" may be the hard part!
