Bring your avatar to “Interviews with Avatars” March 4th, 6 pm SLT (SLT=PST) Readers’ Garden http://tinyurl.com/yfxkstx

The focus of this interactive session is on research design and ethical issues for studies using data from interviews conducted in Second Life. I’ll share some of the models, approaches and researchers’ experiences included in Online Interviews in Real Time. We’ll consider unique issues and dilemmas involved with scholarly interviews in-world. Come share your curiosity—and your experiences!

FYI: Online Interviews in Real Time is available from Sage Publications, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other booksellers. A Blackboard/WebCT cartridge is available for a Masters or PhD course by contacting Sage at (800) 818-7243 or textsales@sagepub.com.
