John is London Bureau Chief for The New York Times, where he covers international issues. He has written for The Times since 1975, is winner of two Pulitzer Prizes and is the longest serving western journalist covering Iraq. His assignments have included Afghanistan, Iraq, China, the USSR, Africa and Bosnia.
The series is hosted by Ralph Begleiter, Rosenberg Professor of Communication and Distinguished Journalist in Residence, and former CNN World Affairs Correspondent.
