It’s back! After twice weekly performances all summer long on NMC Campus, CARP (Cybernetic Art Research Project) is doing one more special Second Life interpretation of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” as a mixed reality event for the ‘Rinascimento Virtuale’ festival at the Museum of Natural History at the University of Florence.
There will also be an after-show party with DJ Doubledown Tandino.
Once again, you can catch this live at NMC Campus West (see below for details) this Saturday, October 25. If you cannot make that, or if you prefer, you are also invited to an open rehearsal on Wednesday, October 22, 2:00PM PST at the same location.
Director Debbie Trilling is among those that are a bit fired up over facelights and asks us to stress to attendees:
As always, we give our normal “Facelights are strictly prohibited from the venue” blurb, but also, with the release of viewer v1.21.6 can add “Audiences are recommended to UNCHECK ‘ Advanced Menu | Rendering | Attached Lights’ for the duration of the performance”.
