Digital Media Summit… Pre-Summit in Second Life

As previously noted last December, the Media Grid hosted an Immersive Education Day at Harvard University (see details on event) as a leadup for another related event, the Boston Digital Media Summit taking place January 12-13. Great Discussion on Challenges / Solutions for SL Teaching

We had a great turnout (30+) at the Muriel Cooper Coliseum for the first of a 2-part discussion on Challenges & Solutions for Teaching in SL. Our panel in the middle of the "ring" were students this past semester to from Mali Young (aka Lisa Dawley)'s EDTECH 597: Teaching & Learning in Second Life class (Boise State University, EDTECH Island).
