This keynote presentation by Howard Rheingold was delivered live into Second Life to an audience of 90+ attendees of the NMC Symposium on the Evolution of Communication.

Yes, we are aiming to get out our January event notifications early, as we know those of you in the real world have to deal with the challenges of holiday time traffic, shopping, cooking... all of those tasks which are much easier here in the virtual world!

Over the weekend, there was an important in person event at Harvard University the Immersive Education Day.
We were scrambling last week to try and see if we could bring live video into NMC Campus form this event, but a stream was not available. Anyhow, we have bee excited to hear on the Second Life Educators Listserv (SLED) about NESIM OR, the virtual nursing sim currently being used by students at Tacoma Community College.
