The University of Nebraska at Omaha School of Communication will host a Second Life forum on the topic of immigration in the state of Nebraska. As the presidential election year nears, we will follow-up a campus By The People discussion that was held in October 2007 with this unique opportunity to participate via Second Life.

In collaboration with Nebraska Educational Telecommunications and the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center, UNO hosted a By The People deliberation on the topic of state immigration policy. By The People is a partnership between MacNeil/Lehrer Productions, PBS affiliates, and educational institutions and civic groups across the country.

Join us at the UNO Center on NMC Campus at Teaching 5 (212, 180, 23) on Friday, December 14 at 12pm PST (check local time).
