Please join us for Case Western Reserve University’s First Annual Faculty Technology Showcase in Second Life. We are streaming live presentations, including a keynote address by Lev Book (aka Case CIO Dr. Lev Gonick). Posters and handouts will also be part of the showcase.

The showcase will highlight faculty use of technology in teaching and provide an opportunity to explore instructional technology innovations. In Second Life, you can see the showcase posters and interact with the presenters.

Learn about:

• Clickers in the classroom
• Our latest version of Blackboard
• MediaVision Courseware
• CaseTV
• Second Life and ClevelandPlus
• Video conferencing opportunities
• Innovative classroom technologies

When: October 30th (starting at 7:00am - 1:00pm SLT/PST (check local time). The posters will remain up through November 1st , 2007.

7:00am - 9:00am SLT: Poster presentation/demos
10:00am - 11:00am SLT: Keynote speaker
11:00am - 12:30pm SLT Poster presentation/demos continue
12:45pm - 1:00pm SLT: Closing Session and Wrap-up

Where: ClevelandPlus (128, 30, 27). Look for the elevator that takes you up to the poster room
