Monday Teacher Buzz- Halloween at Gothic Lit Haunted House

Rummage through your inventory for a costume and join us Monday, Oct 29 for the next NMC Teacher’s Buzz Session- a Halloween celebration hosted at a new Gothic Literature sim built by the dynamic duo Eloise Pasteur and Desideria Stockton.

Of course, when you think about it, the notion of “dressing up in a costume” in Second Life has some sort of weird recursive effect. Don’t think about, just be creative. We have some Linden prize money set up for best costumes.Yes, this is fun but also serious as the Gothic Lit is another explorative, interactive build embedded with learning about literature.

The festivities start Monday, Oct 29, at 6:00 PM SLT/PST (check your local time) at EduIsland 3 (224, 61, 23).

And just because we are sensitive to the fact that not everyone celebrates Halloween, we have prizes offered as well for a stuffed turkey hunt at EduIsland II (184, 235, 24).

Trick or treat! Come on out and play.
