RL Teleport

Just as an update, the news here my have slowed to a trickle due to some Rl travel. I have been teleported (the “grid” - a 747 - was slow, it took 17 hours!) to Australia in RL, for a hectic 3 week speaking tour of the capital cities.

Currently, I am in Melbourne, having a start of the trip in Tasmania, and from here onto Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Darwin, Brisbane, and Sydney again. I hope to try and catch some of the UNESCO live sessions this week (hopefully the stream has been tested). I did have 3 upcoming sessions in Virtual Worlds, but am not 100% sure the network capability will be there to do live sessions in both venues. I plan to pop into world briefly during my presentations and hope to connect with a few folks who can share their educational experiences in SL with an audience likely new to the environment. I m looking forward to meeting the real life avatars of colleagues Kim Pasternak (in Perth), Deckah Mah (Brisbane), Anya Ixchel, Sean McDonnugh, Jokay Wollongong and others (in Sydney). I’ll be back in the other hemisphere Oct 29, so until then, G’Day from Melbourne
