We are excited to bring to NMC Campus another original art performance-- On Sunday August 5, 2007, join us at 2:00 PM SLT/PDT (check local time) for The Show Must Go On:
This show will take place at the theater on Learning (81, 63, 33)! if you have never visited us before, you will need to first join one of the NMC groups that provide teleport access to NMC.

From beta testing to being available in the First Look client, today's update for Second Life rolls the voice chat capability into the main client. So on your next update, login, you will be guided through the steps to enable voice chat.
It's time to make some noise!

For two full days in Second Life (August 3 and 4), you can immerse yourself in post Woodstock frenzy of the 2007 Summer of Love Music concert, with ACHUB's event of live music performances (go back 40 steps for the historical reference).
All performances are presented live, by artists volunteering their time and talent. Check it out, starting 6:00 AM Friday August 3 through midnight August 4 (SLT/PDT) over at Audio Sim -- Audio (134,128,31).

Three educators are going to Chicago for the Second Life Community Convention.
As you know, the NMC is sponsoring three registrations from bona fide educators to attend SLCC by covering their $185 registration fee with an NMC Fellowship. Each of the awardees sent a statement explaining how attending SLCC will help further his or her professional goals in the coming year. Any bona fide educator was eligible.
