The Show Went On!
CDB Barkley (aka Alan Levine) : Aug 7, 2007 03:39pm
We had an enthusiastic turnout for Sunday’s performance of The Show Must Go On- live vaudeville performed at the theater on NMC Campus at Learning. There was dancing, cyclists, comedy, razzle dazzle, all served up in a flavor of well choreographed action.

Several avatars did quick changes behind the scenes (a little bit of alt-zooming allows you to see how things are prepared before the curtain opens– cannot do that in areal theater). Our audience was loud in their applause, and we hope we can perhaps entice the troupe to return for another performance in the future.
It was very entertaining, which we enjoyed, but it also gave us an appreciation into what goes into doing a virtual show, not an easy undertaking, and may serve as a stimulus for other kinds of both performances here, and opportunities to learn producing, directing, planning, etc for virtual shows.
Look for some photos in our flickr collection.
