A New SL Video Juke Box
CDB Barkley (aka Alan Levine) : Jul 24, 2007 12:18pm
After dabbling with assembling a collection of YouTube videos related to Second Life and education (based on a playlist), it struck me as limiting to do this only in YouTube, considering the number of other places to find web video. It was done this way on a lark as an experiment.
But in other venues, we have been exploring a new tool called Vodpod which allows you to assemble, categorize, tag videos from many different video sites. So here we unveil, our SL Jukebox 2.0:
And this “pod” is directly available at http://nmc.vodpod.com/. The other feature I like is that a YouTube playlist is only editable by a single person; on our vodpod, others can sign up to be members and help contribute more clips.

The http://nmc.vodpod.com/ link redirects to the signup Vodpod page with this message:
The page you are trying to view has been flagged as Mature. Registration is required to view this content.

Wow, I wondered what the check box in the settings did. Thanks Brett- I turned it off, so we are now immature. Let me know if it opens the pod.
