Our YouTube Second Life Video Jukebox
CDB Barkley (aka Alan Levine) : Jul 18, 2007 08:23am
Videos about Second Life provide a powerful way to communicate the experience to the uninitiated and are great resources to have available for being able to talk about projects or reasons to be in SL. Eve more so, the creation of video within Second Life is an extremely creative form of expression, and luckily, there are many machinima artists out there who are sharing their works.
We’ve been tracking a number of videos and put together a playlist of just YouTube videos that already has 70 videos related to education, artistic expression, and tutorials- here is out jukebox:
Or link directly to the playlist.
Of course, no one can find them all, so please suggest more we ought to include here.

Great idea! Is there a way to link the jukebox to another site (like mine
), or provide a good old link-list on a page somewhere, or am I missing something?

Though I am thinking a YouTube playlist is limited given the other venues. Looking at other video aggregators….

Hi Alan,
Do you mind if we embed your jukebox on our pages as long as we credit you and provide a trackback?
Thanks for this!

Not at all Ken, please use, re-use, etc. I am however, looking at setting up another site that could assemble videos from many different video sources, not just YouTube.
