A few days ago I had the fortune to catch up and chat with one of the real forces in education in Second Life, the dashing Desideria Stockton, or as she prefers to be called, "Desi". In real life, she is Beth Ritter-Guth, Women's Studies and English Faculty at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Pennsylvania. You have to be an edge seeking heat seeker to rely n Second Life- its great when everything works, and will turn your hair white when it fails you. Fortunately, we have plenty of people who are affiliated or friends with NMC Campus who fly in the face of that uncertainty.
