New Machinima! Art of Stella Costello
CDB Barkley (aka Alan Levine) : May 8, 2007 10:12am
The NMC has been proud to offer an active series of art exhibits and events over the last few months, including the current one featuring the sculptures of Stella Costello that is available on the NMC “Service” sim. They are well worth a visit to take in the mixture of humor and nods to the classics cast into the form of Second Life.
We were fortunate to gain from the video skills and talent in Susi Spicoli who created this wonderful machinima showing the art of Stella Costello.
Available as a high quality Quicktime video [48 Mb]. Be sure to visit Susi’s Mountain Gallery in SL to experience more of her work.
The artist’s opening statement suggests the irony and intrigue shown in her work
You wake up with Creativity every day. You can choose to either make him breakfast or give him the cab fare.
Either way you must come to terms with the fact that your creativity has seen you naked.

Stella’s work is just amazing - she has a true understanding of the possibilities in SL for new and unique forms of art. I wonder, can you upload a low res version to youtube so lots of people can embed it and spread the word?
