Second Life is just wonderful when (a) the technology works; (b) you can get a good sized crowd gathered; and (c) there is an excellent speaker like we had today on NMC Campus. Dr. Daniel Reed, Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, gave a live presentation today on Computing the Future: The 3-D Net. Sunken Boat Originally uploaded by NMC Second Life Spotted in the lagoon. Is there a story that might be written about what happened here? We had some of the highest interest in our NMC Campus Teacher's Buzz sessions on the idea of storytelling in Second Life.
