Reminder: Dr. Daniel Reed Speaks on the 3-D Net

CDB Barkley (aka Alan Levine) : Mar 15, 2007 03:35pm

Here is one more gentle reminder about our live presentation tomorrow (Friday, March 16), at 10:00 AM SL / Pacific Time. Making his first presentation in Second Life, Dr. Daniel Reed, Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is speaking on Computing the Future: The 3-D Net.

Join us at the Gonick Amphitheater (to get there, use SLURL) and turn on the music channel to hear the presentation.

Stage Set up

Today we tested our audio stream and display of presentation slides, and all seemed to be working great (fingers crossed for the grid being smooth tomorrow). The audio and slides are also being made available at UNC’s own island, and if you cannot attend, we will be recording the audio as well.
