Dr. Bryan Carter has been using Second Life in his Composition II courses for several semesters now and has some ideas on what works well for his students and what he changed based on feedback and observations of his classes. His classroom is located on the Island of Glidden, maintained by Aline Click from Northern Illinois University. NMC Campus is Accreting Land Originally uploaded by NMC Second Life Not only is our campus growing, but a whole slate of neighbors will be adjoining is this year. If you've dropped into the NMC Campus Area recently, you may have noticed this checkerboard graphic posted. The NMC Campus we've grown to appreciate this year is completely in the central square.
