NMC Campus Teachers Buzz Meeting - Teacher and Student Orientations to Second Life
Corwin Carillon (aka Nick Noakes) : Sep 6, 2006 09:18am
We had a very vibrant and fast paced, 15-avatar meeting, on Labor Day about orientations to Second Life for teachers and students. My heartfelt thanks to my co-facilitator Heidi TeeCee and we look forward to others stepping up and leading the meetings! The full transcript of the meeting can be found on the Teachers Buzz section of the NMC Campus Wiki. The wide-ranging discussion covered education contexts within Second Life, current resources and needs, issues related to orientations, types of orientations, objectives, practices and experiences! For the summary, we have done something a little different this time and created a visual mindmap of the discussion. It’s linked here in a couple of different formats.

And a more presentational version, which will expand the map as you click:
We’d really like to hear your 2 cents .. and more … on this, so please post your comments and then we can continue the conversation. And do offer to host a Buzz meeting! The next one will be on the 18th September at 6pm SLT.
