Thanks to Doug Latrell for hosting a tour group today to visit the facilities at NETg Campus.
We learned a bit about NETg's offerings, and got to see two of their learning facilities- a large open facility where individual seats offer different audio/video streams of content, and a Microsoft Classroom where certification classses are taught.

It was not announced anywhere, but if you were wandering around NMC Campus on September 12, you may have caught a flurry of activity at the Gonick Ampitheater. We were hosting visitors from IBM, as part of their three day Global Innovation Jam:

The resource links posted recently is part of a new automatic publishing feature for the NMC Campus Observer. We have been using a special del.icio.us account to bookmark and tag relevent or interesting (not always the same!) web resources listed above as "links".

For the next NMC Teacher's Buzz session, join us at the NMC Campus Welcome area, the rooftop of the Spohrer Center on October 2, 9:00 AM SLT/PST. It is there we will meet with guest Seifert Surface, the creator of the art scuplutures there, each of which demonstrates a mathematical underpinning such as knot theory, the magic of the Serpinski triangle, and more.

Today, our Studio NMC took its audio equipment on the road, and we visited with Jeremy Kemp (Jeremy Kabumpo in SL) over at his Heart Murmur Simulation site, located in the Waterhead region of Second Life (find it via a slurl), which turns out to be some prime real estate, near Welcome Island and Path Finder Linden's neighborhood.
