Wednesday: Meet Poster Presenters

She can see all the detail… Come on by Wednesday, July 12, 1:30 SLT (PST) to meet up on NMC Campus with the poster presenters (these are SL versions of RL posters presented at the June 8-10 2006 Summer Conference).

Over the last two weeks since they have been installed, we have seen a fair number of avatars checking out the posters on display in the Huntley Ballroom. This week it is time to meet up and talk about them.

As previously announced, these posters are the Second Life versions of posters shown in Real Life at the NMC 2006 Summer Conference in Cleveland (see event details).

Be sure to stop by Wednesday, 1:30 PM SLT (=PST) to meet up with a number of the presenters who will be on hand to talk about their projects.

Yes, we even said “talk”– you can use our NMC Campus TeamSpeak server so you cna have audio exchanges with anyone else on hand. See our new instructions for how to download and set up TeamSpeak to use on NMC Campus.

What else is different? Using your zoom and pan tools, you can virtually see every poster’s finest detail from any vantage point in the ball room.

We also have mounted a bulletin board with real photos from the June conference, and we have a fun new electronic comments box- look for the orange feedback machine in the front of the room.
